Shimrin Metallic Base

MBC SHIMRIN METALLIC BASES MBC Shimrin Metallic Bases are House of Kolor's largest size metallic basecoats that feature exceptional sparkle and brightness. Available in three unique colors, they are an excellent choice as a base coat for Kandy finishes. When used as a base coat, MBC-01 is used to make bright dazzling Kandy colors while MBC-03 can be used to make dark Kandy colors. MBC-02 is a medium color used to slightly darken Kandy colors. All three make Kandys with exceptional sparkle in sunlight. They may be used cleared over for a final finish. Due to their unique chemistry make-up, they may be top coated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel. Once a system is chosen (acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel) use only products within that system. Intermixing of these two systems, after the base coat, is not recommended. For example, if ShimrinŽ Base is top coated with an acrylic lacquer Kandy, it must also be cleared with an acrylic lacquer clear. Reduce 2 parts paint to 1 part reducer. Use RU310, RU311 or RU312 Reducer.
